20 Romantic Comedies to Watch for Valentine's Day!

20 Romantic Comedy Movies for Valentine’s Day!

Yes, yes I know – there is nothing more cliché than watching a rom-com on Valentine’s Day. But sometimes it’s just what you need. Whether you’re snuggled with your love one on the couch, hanging out with a group of girlfriends, or having a me day [me days are the best, aren’t they?]. With Valentine’s day this weekend and romance in the air, I decided to put together a list of my favourite romantic comedies for you to enjoy. These are not all the wonderful rom-coms out there, but this is my go-to list. Some may not necessarily be considered a comedy as well, but have been included because they are awesome!

20 Of My Favourite Romantic Comedies (in no particular order):

  1. When Harry Met SallyAlright, so this is my favourite movie (as mentioned on our about us page), so I just had to put it as #1 :)
  2. About TimeRyan and I recently watched this, and loved it!
  3. Something’s Gotta GiveAnother movie I can quote the entire thing of..
  4. Sleepless in Seattle – I’ll meet Ryan on top of the Empire State Building any day 😉

  5. You’ve Got Mail  – Can you tell I’m a fan of Meg Ryan?

  6. Annie Hall – And Diane Keaton!

  7. Midnight in ParisLet’s face it, all Woody Allen movies are just da bomb :)

  8. Crazy Stupid Love – “F**k. Seriously. It’s like your photoshopped!” – Love it!

  9. The Notebook – Not really a comedy, but definitely a must to include on this list

  10. Dirty Dancing – Have we not all tried to reenact the last scene – or at least wanted to!
  11. What If – Filmed in Toronto!

  12. (500) Days of SummerYep, I totally have a massive girl crush on Zooey Deschanel

  13. Pretty Woman – Classic!

  14. Bridget Jones’s Diary – So good and so funny

  15. Music and Lyrics – Gah, these songs always get stuck in my head.

  16. Say AnythingHere’s my question – does holding an iPhone up in front of a bedroom window have the same effect? HA!

  17. It’s Complicated – Meryl Streep and Steve Martin – an awesome combo!

  18. A Lot Like LoveToo cute and one of Ryan’s favourites

  19. Enough Said – One of the most heart-warming movies
